About Jeff Curtis
Mr. Jeffrey Curtis is a senior defense business reform leader with 34 years’ experience in strategic problem solving. A retired member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) and recognized supply chain, metrics, and analytics expert, he has held leadership positions in the Department of Defense (DoD). Mr. Curtis retired in 2019 as the Reform Lead for Category Management and Service Contracts in the Office of theSecretary of Defense (DoD OSD). He was also dual hatted as the Director, Portfolio Analysis Division where he advised and assisted the Deputy Secretary of Defense and DoD Chief Management Officer (CMO) in the strategic approach and implementation of business reform throughout the Department. Implementing the DOD’s category management program, Mr. Curtis took the program from conception to execution, where he identified $2 billion in savings in the first year. Mr.Curtis also held multiple leadership positions during his 29-year tenure with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), ultimately serving as Executive Director, Logistics Policy and Strategy, and Executive Director of the Nuclear Enterprise Support Office. In those roles, he oversaw an annual demand/sales value of $35 billion.
