Mr. DeFord is an accomplished executive sales leader with more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device industries. He has built and developed sales teams specifically focused on the federal markets including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Indian Health Services. Prior to joining Maclean, he built the federal sales market strategy and led the launch of a first-in-class advanced wound care product. This enabled the company to become the top supplier in its class to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Indian Health Services. He is passionate about getting best-in-class technologies in the hands of those who support our nation’s heroes to help them live longer and happier lives.
